About this Art Shelter:

This shelter is dedicated to Jordan Avi Rinde z”l and Shma Abramson obm. Jordan was our nephew who passed away from pediatric cancer before his 6th birthday. During treatments, Jordan would assemble all types Legos ultimately assembling more than 150 Legos, some of which were at the highest level of difficulty. Legos brought Jordan relief and a welcome distraction from treatments giving him control and mastery during a very difficult time. We assemble Legos every year in his memory.

Shma Abramson was our Aunt, a true lover of the State of Israel. Shma, a Kabbalist and healer, lived in Israel: Sharm El Sheik and Eilat. where she helped oversee diving charters from the early 60’s until 2000. She had a strong connection to the land and sea and loved dolphins
