In Spetember 2019, the Eshkol Region opened a new campus with three rocket-proof elementary schools for all of the children in the region. All of the 1400 elementary school-aged children in the Eshkol Regional Council now come to one, unified, educational campus. The schools are situated 5.5 kms from the border with the Gaza Strip.
