Yad Mordechai (Memorial of Mordechai) is a kibbutz in Southern Israel. Located 4 km north of the border with the Gaza Strip, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 792. Yad Mordechai was established in 1943, south of Ashkelon. It was named in memory of Mordechai Anielewicz, the commander of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, which broke earlier that year. Five years later, in 1948 the Kibbutz found itself under a massive attack by the Egyptian army. The kibbutz held out for six days of continuous fighting, and by the end of the war it was liberated and rebuilt. During the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, the kibbutz was attacked by Egypt in the Battle of Yad Mordechai.
One of the sources of income for the kibbutz is their Honey and Bee House. Yad Mordechai is one of the leading producers of honey in Israel.
