The Arts and Entertainment Task Force donated money to build TWO art shelters at the entrance to the Sha’ar Hanegev High School.
The Sha’ar Hanegev High School is located in the Gaza Envelope area and stands at the heart of the fire from the Gaza Strip – less that 4 kms away from the border. The Israeli Government funded a completely shielded, rocket proof school to house the institution whose existence is essential to the persistence of normal, everyday life and crucial to the advancement of the region at large. Over onne thousand students from neighboring development towns, as well as peripheral kibbutzim and moshavim attend the school, which has become the focal point of the community in the area.
